Why Playbook Logix exists
Almost nobody running a youth sports team signed up to do administration. They volunteered because they like coaching, or because their kid's team needed someone, or because nobody else put their hand up.
Then the season starts, and it turns out the job is a spreadsheet of who paid, a folder of paper waivers, a group text nobody reads, and a stack of Venmo notifications you're trying to match against names. The actual coaching is maybe a quarter of it.
We kept watching capable people burn out on that: not on the sport, on the paperwork around it. Clubs would try software built for corporate leagues and find it too expensive and far too complicated, or they'd give up and go back to the spreadsheet. There wasn't much built for a volunteer treasurer who has ninety minutes on a Tuesday night.
So that's what we're building. Something a single coach can set up in an afternoon without training, that still holds up when that coach is running four teams and a summer camp three years later. Free to start, because a lot of the organizations that need this most have no budget at all.

The money has to be right
A family's total is worked out once, at checkout, and locked to that registration. Change next season's prices and nobody's existing invoice moves.
Volunteer treasurers get audited by their own boards. The numbers need to hold up.
Start small, grow into it
One coach with one team should be able to start this afternoon, with no setup call and no training. The same account should still work when that's four teams and a camp.
Nobody should have to migrate to a different product because they succeeded.
Cost shouldn't bench a kid
Payment plans, deposits, sibling discounts, and Sponsor-a-Player all exist for the same reason: a child sitting out a season over $150 is a bad outcome everyone wants to avoid.
